- Maroun Chammas, Chairman and CEO of Berytech

“ Lebanon needs deal flow! A seed accelerator fills in the seed equity gap and insures the companies are 'investment-ready' for equity funds to seriously consider after graduation”
- Walid Hanna, Managing Partner at MEVP

“A seed stage accelerator is an essential component of a healthy startup ecosystem; It helps channel a large number of promising startups by increasing the chance of success to everyone. Ideal programs capture the imagination of a large number of young and new entrepreneurs, thereby having a strong impact on the culture of innovation in the country”
- Fadi Bizri, Managing Director of Bader

“Over 92% of technology startups fail. Accelerators reduce the probability of failure by offering founders expert product and business feedback, by helping them reach product-market fit faster, and by allowing them to build relationships with investors and potential customers. US accelerator Y Combinator contributed to making Reddit, Airbnb, and Dropbox the great companies they are today, and our goal at Speed@BDD is to spawn global successes out of Lebanon and MENA”
